After four years’ nurturance in MPU, I’m now a freshman in the society. In the past few months, I’ve had a great experience applying my knowledge to my work. At MPU, we were taught academic knowledge as well as practical skills. From programming courses taken in year one to the course on ‘Enterprise System and Application Development’ taken in my final year, the knowledge I’ve learnt in every single course became a great assistance in my work.

Courses taught in the Marketing programme are reasonably arranged. All courses were interconnected, and as a result, knowledge we learned in one subject could be readily applied to the next. In the course of teaching, not only would our professors teach us theoretical knowledge, but also attached importance to practice. We did case studies in every single class, so that we can see for ourselves how knowledge can be put to use in the real business world.

I came from Taiwan and now teach music at a primary school in Macao. Every single course of the Music programme has had an enormous impact on my teaching career. I was most impressed by the keyboard harmony class taught by Professor Dai Dingcheng, as what I learnt during this course enables me to do improvised creation and accompaniment for the songs sung by my students.
