大學簡介

澳門理工大學是一所綜合性公立大學，教學與科研並重，於1981年創立，前身為東亞大學理工學院，1991年改為澳門理工學院，2022年3月1日更名為澳門理工大學，以“普專兼擅，中西融通”為校訓，秉持“紮根澳門，背靠祖國，面向世界，爭創一流”的理念，以“教學標準國際化、科研工作規範化、校園設施電子化、行政工作法治化”為治校標準，在教學、科研及社會服務方面追求國際上的卓越，為國家及澳門貢獻力量。

全方位教育體系
在國家及澳門特區政府的大力支持下，澳理工持續發揮學科優勢，提升教研水平，積極推進澳門高等教育事業的發展。設有六所學院，包括應用科學學院、健康科學及體育學院、語言及翻譯學院、藝術及設計學院、人文及社會科學學院，以及管理科學學院，建立全方位人才培養模式及多元化學科體系，開辦科技創新、健康醫學、體育科學、語言翻譯、藝術文創、公共管理、社會服務、工商管理等不同範疇的學士、碩士及博士學位課程，致力培養具國際視野的高素質專業人才。

優質教學
為達至追求卓越的目標，澳理工積極推展各項學術評鑑工作，以優化教育素質。作為澳門高等教育素質保證的先驅，澳理工以“充滿信心”的評級成為亞洲首家通過英國高等教育質量保證局院校評鑑的高等院校，並成功通過海內外權威素質保證組織及專業機構的學術評審，教與學質量屢獲好評。同時，澳理工是澳門首家並唯一連續兩度榮獲“國家級教學成果獎”、全國唯一四度榮獲“亞太教育質量獎”的高等院校，教研質量獲國家及國際認可。

跨學科研究
澳理工致力於跨學科的科研創新，發揮學術潛能，為社會發展貢獻智慧。憑藉澳理工各研究中心和實驗室的協同努力，在科技創新、中葡英翻譯、環境保護、非物質文化遺產、旅遊休閒、藝術文創等重點領域開展創新性研究，加大應用研究產出，推動科研成果轉化。

國際聲譽
憑藉優質教研，近年澳理工國際排名持續上升，在QS世界大學排名榜單中位列全球901-950區間、亞洲大學排名位列全球第402位；在泰晤士高等教育世界大學影響力總榜排名全球301-400位，為澳門排名最高的大學，尤其在優質教育、可持續城市、就業與經濟增長、健全體系等可持續發展目標（SDG）入選世界百強大學。

國際合作
澳理工與海內外著名大學、機構及企業合作，構建合作夥伴網絡，在中國內地、香港及台灣，以及葡語系和英語系國家，開展學術交流、學生交換、協同科研，創設聯合實驗室、雙學位及合辦課程等，合作多元。

社會服務
澳理工肩負推動社會持續發展、經濟適度多元的任務，竭力從事應用研究和社會服務相關工作，向社會宣揚終身學習的理念，為人類生活創造更多可能。相關服務領域涵蓋文化創意、博彩旅遊、醫療衛生、體育科學、公共服務等。此外，教職員獲澳門特區政府委託，在多個諮詢委員會擔任正副主席或委員，以及進行各項政策研究和調查分析，為社會、經濟和文化發展出謀劃策。

當前，澳理工積極推進橫琴粵澳深度合作區校區建設規劃工作，助力澳琴國際教育（大學）城建設。立足新時代，澳理工繼續秉持“學生為本，質量立校”，突顯特色學科，優化教育素質，加強科創建設，全面協同發展，進一步融入及服務國家發展大局，積極參與國家“一帶一路”、粵港澳大灣區和橫琴粵澳深度合作區建設，開創未來發展的新里程。

General Information

Macao Polytechnic University is a comprehensive and public university distinguished by a high standard of scholarship in both teaching and applied research. Established in 1981, it was formerly known as the University of East Asia Polytechnic Institute, which became Macao Polytechnic Institute in 1991 and was renamed Macao Polytechnic University on 1 March 2022. In line with its motto, “knowledge, expertise, global vision,” MPU strives for international excellence in teaching and learning, research development, and community outreach, adhering to its long-standing commitment to serving Macao and the country.

Diversified Education System
With the strong support of the Macao SAR and the national governments, MPU leverages its academic strengths in sustainable enhancement of teaching and research, taking on an active role in promoting Macao’s higher education development. Currently, MPU has six faculties, respectively in Applied Sciences, Health Sciences and Sports, Languages and Translation, Arts and Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Business, offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes in fields of study such as technology and innovation, health sciences, sports sciences, languages and translation, arts and creativity, public administration, social services, business and administration. Through the diversified education experience being offered, MPU cultivates students to become quality professionals with global vision in respective specialised areas.

Quality Teaching and Learning
In pursuance of excellence, the University has been proactive in optimising educational quality through academic accreditation. Being the pioneer in higher education quality assurance in Macao, MPU is the first higher education institution (HEI) in Asia having a successful institutional review by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education(QAA), UK. Its education provision has been widely acclaimed in academic reviews by authoritative quality assurance bodies and professional institutions at home and abroad. As recognition of its commitment to quality teaching and learning, the University is the first and only HEI in Macao to have twice secured the "National Teaching Achievement Award" in higher education, which is the highest award for teaching excellence in China. It is also the only HEI in China to have received the Asia-Pacific Quality Awards four times from the Asia-Pacific Quality Network.

Interdisciplinary Research
MPU strives to contribute to intellectual scholarship through interdisciplinary research and innovation. Significant research input is devoted at the University to the development of major research areas such as technology and innovation, Chinese-Portuguese-English translation, environment protection, intangible cultural heritage, tourism and leisure, as well as arts and creativity, which are powered through an array of research centres and laboratories. Research products are developed out of this interdisciplinary research to promote the transfer of research achievements.

International Recognition
Through quality teaching and research, MPU has seen a steady rise in international rankings in recent years, and is currently ranked between 901-950 globally and 402nd among Asian universities in the QS World University Rankings. In the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings, MPU is positioned globally between 301st and 400th, making it the highest-ranked university in Macao. Notably, MPU ranked among the world's top 100 universities for several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Quality Education, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Global Networks
Sustainable and diversified partnerships have been established with renowned universities, organisations and corporations based in countries or regions such as Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Portuguese-speaking countries and English-speaking countries with scopes of collaborations ranging from academic exchange, student exchange, research collaboration, and joint laboratories to dual degree and joint programmes.

Community Outreach and Sustainability
MPU is devoted to applied research and community services that contribute to the sustainable development and economic diversification of society by means of fostering scholarship of social relevance and life-long learning in areas that have a direct impact on people’s livelihoods, such as culture and creativity, gaming and tourism, nursing and healthcare, sports and physical education, and public services. Members of the University contribute their academic visions to the socio-economic and cultural development of Macao by serving as chair or members of various advisory committees as entrusted by the Macao SAR Government, conducting policy studies and carrying out research projects of immediate relevance to the society.

MPU is actively advancing the planning for the construction of its campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, contributing to the development of Macao-Hengqin International Education (University) Town. Moving forward, and adhering to its long-standing commitment to quality and student-centred education, MPU will further maximise its academic strengths, continuously enhance its education provision, and sustain the synergistic development of teaching and research, contributing to serving and laying down yet another milestone in the development of Macao and the country.
